welcome to the sphere

Yes, it's another network. But it's not just another network. It can be as much or as little as you want it to be.

The Sphere is a place for people interested in writing, poetry, publishing, zines, art, diy, collectives, collaboratives, experimental work, and small press to discuss work, projects...to meet up, trade, post calls for submissions, and connect around creative work and the independent art/press scene. This network welcomes writers and publishers and artists from all walks of life, who share a commitment to community, independence and collaborative distribution.

What's New...

*If you have a link to add to the sidebar, please send a message to Lynn or Michael. And please consider adding your publication to the "call for submissions" section.
*Navigate: Use the top tabs to navigate and find your way around. There are some new tabs for you to check out. The top level tabs generally have a drop down menu of more tabs underneath. Just added: tabs about the Sphere Call In Shows and Open Mic on BTR. (See Above)

*New MUST Discussions in the Microzines Group

Sam left his piano in the rain and the dog pissed on one leg. Sam kicked the dog to death and ate it for dinner. Pretty soon the bus to Poughkeepsie pulled up at Sam's door. It's here, Sam thought, smiling. He wiped his mouth then grabbed his luggag…

What is your definition of "real life poetry critique group/poetry readers group?" I'm not being a smart-ass with this question. Do you want to form a group that writes, reads and critiques realistic poetry? or Do you want to form a group that regu…

I'm adjusting my 2010 goals slightly. The novel is out. I just don't feel like fiction is the thing I should be writing now. I'd like to form a real life poetry critique group/poetry readers group. I'd like to write enough poems to put out a chapboo…

What would not sucking look like? Or even, how do you define what you've been writing as suckage? Thanks for the compliment. I was surprised to see a new comment. :)

2,010? That is too many goals. Not even Salinger was that prolific. I have like, one goal, and that is to keep writing up to and beyond the moment that I die. Damn! 2010 Goals? that is way too goal oriented...wait: WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
